2024 Annual Budget

The 2024 National Budget is all about Securing our Future, with the focus on growth and jobs, and an increase in targeted funding for the economic sector and utilities, infrastructure, health, education, police and judiciary, and to further help families facing cost of living pressures. The largest budget in the PNG’s history, the budget reports record revenues, while continuing with responsible budget repair of another K1 billion cut in the deficits with a plan to return to budget surplus by 2027.
